Aston Villa footballer Marcus Rashford has landed in new trouble. According to The Sun, the Englishman appeared before Warrington court in connection with a car accident that occurred in October last year.
It is reported that on October 30, Rashford's BMW I7 was caught by police surveillance cameras in the town of Winsford in Cheshire. The issue in this situation was that Rashford was prohibited from driving due to a speeding conviction on the motorway in December 2023.
To identify the person who was driving the car, the police sent Rashford a request letter, but the footballer ignored it. As a result, he was summoned to testify at the Warrington Magistrates' Court.
During the interrogation, Marcus admitted to failing to fulfill the obligation to provide information to the police but did not disclose who was behind the wheel of his car.
For this violation, the footballer was fined £500, and he also has to pay an additional surcharge of £200 and court costs of £90. Thus, the total fine amounts to £790, which Rashford must pay by April 10.
