New rules from Zidane! Will they make a difference?
Zinedine Zidane's appointment as head coach of the France national team has been followed by immediate and radical changes within the squad.
Details: The legendary manager has decided to put an end to a long-standing tradition that had turned players' arrivals at the Clairefontaine training base into regular fashion shows and high-profile media performances.

According to the reputable publication Goal.com, Zidane has introduced a strict secrecy regime and restricted press access and independent cameras at the gates of the base. In recent years, the arrival of stars such as Jules Koundé in extravagant outfits has consistently sparked a strong reaction on social media even before training began.
The French coach demanded that the excessive external spectacle be removed so the players could focus solely on football, tactics and preparation for the national team's upcoming matches. This approach clearly demonstrates Zizou's desire to restore maximum discipline, concentration and a professional atmosphere to the squad from the very first minutes of the camp.
After three rounds of the Nations League, France sit top of Group 1 with seven points. Zidane's men will play their next match against Belgium on October 5.
