Reports suggest Anderson is the main priority for the United board, who see him as the perfect replacement for the departing Casemiro. With fierce competition from Manchester City and Bayern Munich, the Red Devils are prepared to break their own transfer record and offer around €114 million for Anderson.
Currently, United’s transfer record is the signing of Paul Pogba from Juventus for €205 million.
This season, Elliot Anderson has played 35 matches for Nottingham Forest, scoring 1 goal and providing 3 assists. His current contract with the club runs until 2029, and his market value is estimated at €60 million by Transfermarkt.
