New Mexico United will welcome Liga MX club FC Juárez for an international friendly on Wednesday, June 25 at 7 p.m. ET at Rio Grande Credit Union Field at Isotopes Park in Albuquerque. The club announced the matchup on Friday, marking the fourth international friendly in its history—and the second against the Mexican side.

The teams last met in 2024, when Juárez earned a 4-2 win. Ángel Zaldívar netted twice in the first half for the visitors, while United pulled within one through second-half goals by Marco Micaletto and Kalen Ryden before Juárez struck late to secure the victory.

FC Juárez is coming off one of its best seasons in recent memory, finishing ninth in the Clausura and reaching the Liga MX play-in under head coach Martín Varini. It was the club’s top finish in either tournament since its promotion to the Mexican top flight nearly a decade ago.

The match adds another chapter to New Mexico’s growing tradition of cross-border friendlies, showcasing its regional appeal and vibrant fan culture.
