New love for Manchester City's Ruben Dias? Spends New Year's with a beauty in Ibiza
Manchester City defender Ruben Dias sparked romance rumors after spending New Year's with Love Island host Maya Jama.
The pair were spotted dining together at the Sa Capella restaurant in Ibiza. Photos of the outing were shared on the Instagram page Game Set & Match, though neither Dias nor Jama have commented on the nature of their relationship.
Previously, Ruben Dias dated Portuguese pop singer April Ivy (real name Mariana Gonçalves) from 2019 to 2021, with the relationship ending due to lifestyle differences. Dias reportedly sought a quieter, more private dynamic, which clashed with Ivy's public career.
The Portuguese defender was later linked to another Love Island star, Arabella Chi, but their romance ended in early 2024.
This season, Dias has made 19 appearances for Manchester City across all competitions. The team ended 2024 on a high note with an away victory over Leicester. However, City currently sits sixth in the Premier League table, trailing the leaders by 14 points.
