New Jamaica record on the horizon! 16-year-old Toronto wonderkid called up to senior national team

The young talent is rapidly making his way onto the senior international stage.

Details: 16-year-old Toronto FC II forward Jahmarie Nolan has received his first call-up to the Jamaica senior national team for the upcoming September CONCACAF Nations League fixtures. The highly rated striker has a golden opportunity to rewrite the record books: if he takes the field against Guatemala or Honduras, he will become the youngest debutant for the Reggae Boyz in the modern era.

The invitation to join the national team was the logical result of the teenager's impressive progress. In the current MLS NEXT Pro season, Nolan has emerged as the leader of Toronto FC II's attack, recording 13 goal contributions (10 goals and 3 assists) in 23 appearances. In addition, the forward made his first-team debut for Toronto in May 2026 in a Canadian Championship match against Atlético Ottawa, and the club's management plans to continue his gradual integration into the senior squad.

It is worth noting that Nolan joined the Canadian club in March 2025 from Jamaican side Mount Pleasant, where he made his Jamaica Premier League debut at just 14 years old.
