Wilfried Nancy has received official permission from his current club, Columbus Crew, to make the move to Scotland.

Details: According to Fabrizio Romano, the French manager is preparing to take charge of Celtic and will arrive in Glasgow on Thursday, where he is set to lead his first training session with the team.

The official announcement of Nancy's appointment as Celtic's head coach is expected soon. The club's management is finalizing the formalities, after which the deal will be publicly confirmed.

Until now, the Frenchman had only coached in MLS, first taking charge of Montreal, before moving to Columbus Crew, where he has been at the helm since December 2022.

Reminder: Celtic are close to agreeing a pre-contract with Liverpool defender Robertson.
