New Challenge in Turkey’s 1st Division: Ivory Coast Striker Joins Amedspor from Beerschot

Charly Keita, an Ivory Coast striker, has officially joined Amedspor from Beerschot, a Belgian team. The 25-year-old attacker will take on a fresh challenge in Turkey's second tier after playing in 20 games for Beerschot this season. The transfer was formally revealed by Amedspor on Friday.

Keita, who is known for his strength, speed, and finishing ability, began his career in France's Pau FC youth system before moving to professional football. After stints with Sedan and Clermont Foot, he joined Beerschot in 2023 and helped the team win the Challenger Pro League and rise to Belgium's top flight.

Keita is now in Turkey and hopes to contribute to Amedspor by using his skills to increase their offensive capability. His goal-scoring prowess and muscular presence are expected to improve the team's success in the Turkish First Division.
