New Cameroonian talent on the radar of European giants. Rennes defender attracts interest from Inter and Porto
Rennes left-back Mahamadou Nagida has attracted transfer interest from Inter Milan and Porto.
Details: According to football insider Ekrem Konur, the Italian and Portuguese giants are closely monitoring the rapid progress of the 21-year-old Cameroonian. Both clubs are currently keeping tabs on the promising full-back and have yet to make official offers to the Breton side, but their interest in the player is considered serious.
Nagida's confident performances at the start of the current campaign have established him as one of the most eye-catching full-backs in France's Ligue 1. His pace, aggressive tackling and regular runs forward make the young African an attractive target for clubs looking to secure their left-back position for years to come.
It is worth noting that the product of Douala-based Kadji Sports Academy moved to France in the summer of 2023 and quickly broke through from Rennes' reserve side into the first-team squad. In addition, his consistent club performances have earned Nagida the attention of Cameroon's national-team coaching staff, significantly increasing his transfer value on the European market.
