Star Portuguese coach José Mourinho has spoken about his plans for the near future.

The Special One revealed that he currently has no offers, but is ready to return to coaching as soon as this summer. Additionally, Mourinho did not rule out a return to the Portuguese league.

"At the moment, there's no news, zero news. I don't have a club, I'm free, but I want to work. Don't worry, this summer I want to return to work. Football is my life; I can coach anywhere, I have no problems."

As for returning to the Portuguese league? Never say never, especially in football," Mourinho said.

The 61-year-old Portuguese coach managed Roma from July 2021 until January of this year, leading the club to the UEFA Conference League title and the Europa League final, where they lost to Sevilla on penalties.

This season saw setbacks for Mourinho at Roma, and he was dismissed on January 16 after a 3-1 defeat away to Milan, leaving his team in ninth place in the Serie A table. He was replaced by Daniele De Rossi, who immediately improved the team's results.

It is worth noting that Mourinho has previously been linked with Newcastle, Chelsea, and Manchester United, and he expressed interest in working in Saudi Arabia.
