Neuer confirms he will share playing time with Jonas Urbig next season
Bayern Munich recently agreed on a new contract with Manuel Neuer, but with the signing of young goalkeeper Jonas Urbig, the club will have to divide playing time between the two.
Details: Neuer himself has confirmed that he will be sharing minutes with the young shot-stopper next season.
Quote: "There is a certain agreement. Jonas can only continue to develop if he plays," said the legendary German goalkeeper.
Earlier, Bayern announced the extension of the 38-year-old goalkeeper’s contract until June 2026. The financial terms of Neuer’s new deal have not been disclosed, but his previous contract was set to expire at the end of this season.
Reminder: Neuer has played 547 matches for Bayern, keeping 258 clean sheets and conceding 450 goals. The club recently signed Cologne goalkeeper Jonas Urbig.
