Netherlands - France. Predicted line-ups and latest news, – June 21, 2024

The second round of the UEFA Euro 2024 group stage in Group D will end with a meeting between the Netherlands and France.
Both teams approach the match in good spirits, and depending on the result of the game between Poland and Austria, which starts a little earlier, the winner of this game will be able to make the play-offs early.
In the first round, the Dutch beat Poland 2-1, while the French, although Austria didn't score, managed to get a minimal 1-0 win. Both teams have three points after the opening matches, but thanks to the greater number of goals scored Ronald Koeman's wards lead the quartet.
The Netherlands had no injury problems during the tough win over Poland and with Brian Brobbey, who was absent in that win due to a hamstring problem, now back training with the squad, Koeman should have everyone at his disposal.
The Netherlands coach has not completely shut down Weghorst's chances of getting into the starting line-up after his late exploits at the weekend, but Depay, who is five goals away from Robin van Persie's record of 50 goals for the national team, should continue to hold his colleague back for the time being.
Koeman understandably kept quiet in his pre-match press conference about Weghorst's possible emergence, although local media have named Donyell Malen and Jeremie Frimpong as potential starters.
Speaking of attacking situations, Bleus fans were eagerly awaiting news on Kylian Mbappe, who had his nose and shirt bloodied after the Danso incident, but could still play in the latter stages of the tournament in a mask.
Mbappe has already been spotted in training wearing a protective outfit emblazoned with the colours of the French flag and their emblem, and Deschamps refused to rule out the possibility of a surprise appearance for the 25-year-old.
However, French media have reported that Mbappe will have to withdraw from Friday's game and Deschamps is expected to betting odds on Olivier Giroud. Although the latter is feeling discomfort, it should not affect his participation in the match.
