Dutch sailor Marit Bouwmeester has become a two-time Olympic champion in sailing.
Bouwmeester won the gold medal in the women's dinghy event at the Paris Olympics. The silver medal went to Anne-Marie Rindom from Denmark, and Line Hest from Norway took the bronze.
This is the fourth Olympic medal in Bouwmeester's career and her second gold. Previously, she won silver at the 2012 London Olympics, gold in Rio in 2016, and bronze in Tokyo 2020.
