Nerves take over. Carlsen slams the table after defeat to Gukesh

During the tournament in Stavanger, Norway, the stage was set for a high-stakes clash between two of the chess world's titans: reigning chess crown holder Dommaraju Gukesh and the renowned Magnus Carlsen. The Norwegian grandmaster struggled to come to terms with his defeat.
Details: Carlsen, frustrated by a costly mistake, conceded the game to Gukesh. Realizing what had happened, he slammed the table in anger, causing several pieces to scatter from the board. The Norwegian later apologized for his outburst, while the Indian grandmaster joked that he too had done the same many times before.
Reminder: In the Stavanger tournament, Carlsen remains in the lead, sharing first place with American Fabiano Caruana at 9½ points. Thanks to his victory over the Norwegian, Gukesh has climbed to third with 8½ points.
