Indiana Pacers guard Andrew Nembhard has agreed to a three-year contract extension worth $59 million, according to ESPN sources.
The deal is the maximum allowed for this duration for one of the top players of the 2024 NBA playoffs.
The 24-year-old player played 68 games last season, averaging 9.2 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game.
Nembhard was selected 31st overall by Indiana in the draft. He joined the Pacers' roster in the 2022 NBA Summer League. He has also been named to the Canadian national team for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
Additionally, the 2024 NBA champion Boston Celtics extended a forward's contract for $45 million.
