Forward Sam Hauser of the Boston Celtics has extended his contract with his current club, as reported by insider Adrian Wojnarowski.

According to the basketball player's agent, Jason Glushon, Hauser has agreed to a four-year contract extension worth $45 million.

In the 2023/24 NBA season, Hauser played 19 playoff games. The 26-year-old American averaged 5.4 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 0.6 assists in 14.9 minutes on the court.

Hauser also won the NBA championship with the Boston Celtics.

Previously, it was reported that the NBA is planning an expansion. The entry cost into the basketball league for a new participant is known to be quite expensive.
