NBA game between Pelicans and Bucks postponed: what's the issue?

The regular-season NBA game between the New Orleans Pelicans and the Milwaukee Bucks, scheduled for the night of Thursday, January 23, will not take place as planned.

Details: The league has officially announced that the game has been postponed. The reason is a severe snowstorm currently affecting New Orleans.

Additionally, the NBA team Philadelphia 76ers had ambitious plans to build an arena in the city center, but those plans have been canceled. The $1.3 billion project has been shelved.

Reminder: Fires are currently raging in Los Angeles, and over 100,000 people have been evacuated. The fires have damaged the property of many stars, including the home of Lakers head coach JJ Redick.

The damages from the fires are currently estimated at $57 billion.
