Tonight's NBA schedule initially included eight regular-season games, but the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Charlotte Hornets matchup had to be postponed.

Details: The game was rescheduled due to deadly wildfires engulfing California.

The fires have been raging since January 7, forcing the evacuation of over 100,000 people. Among those affected is Lakers head coach J.J. Redick, whose home was destroyed by the fire.

Current estimates place the damages caused by the wildfires at $57 billion.
