On Tuesday, June 18, in the fifth game of the final series, the Boston Celtics defeated Dallas to become the NBA champions for the 2023/24 season. In celebration, the team held a parade through the streets of their city on Friday. However, not everything went smoothly during the festivities.

Celtics star Jaylen Brown, who was named the Finals MVP, revealed that he lost his championship ring. He shared this on his Instagram page yesterday, asking fans for help in finding it and promising a substantial reward.

Initially, he posted a photo of the ring on his hand with the caption:

"A big reward to whoever finds the ring. Lost it at the parade. If you find it, please let me know."

He then posted another photo showing a close-up of the ring, with the caption:

"Reward for whoever found this ring. Lost it at the parade."

Jaylen Brown played a pivotal role in his team's championship victory, averaging 23.9 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.2 steals per game. Last year, he signed a five-year contract extension with the team worth $286 million, and in the upcoming season, he is set to earn just under $50 million.
