Spain's national team coach, Luis de la Fuente, commented on the intense schedules faced by football players.
Quote: "National team matches are just one per month for a player. Over two years, it's 27 games. One a month. Let’s stop going in circles… . I hope they fix it and don't pass the ball to us," said the head coach of La Furia Roja.
Reminder: Spain is set to play Serbia on Tuesday, October 15, as part of the UEFA Nations League.
On a related note, Chelsea and Spain left-back Marc Cucurella is the latest player to express concerns about the overly packed match calendar.
