As the Ballon d'Or ceremony approaches, media discussions about potential winners in various categories have intensified.

Details: RMC Sport portal interviewed Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi, asking for his opinion on who should win the Ballon d'Or.

“If Ousmane Dembélé doesn't win the Ballon d'Or, that's a problem. Given his outstanding season, there is no doubt that he will win. If he doesn't, that's an issue. He has done everything necessary. Of course, his effectiveness is crucial for the club. But the most important thing is that everyone plays for the team,” Nasser said.

He was also asked about the relevance and necessity of hosting a tournament like the Club World Cup, in which PSG is currently competing. His answer was clear and firm:

Has the Club World Cup overloaded the calendar? It's true that when you organize such a competition, there are some downsides, but overall it's fantastic—a new market for football, for the brand, for the entire club. I don't understand why people criticize this tournament. Previously, clubs and players never played in a world championship; we need to think positively,” Al-Khelaifi stated.

The Ballon d'Or ceremony will take place on September 22 in Paris.
