Napoli wants to sign Maldini
The Italian club is searching for options to strengthen its squad in the attacking midfielder and forward positions—and one of the candidates is the son of the legendary Paolo Maldini, who can play in both roles.
Details: According to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Napoli is actively working on a potential move for Atalanta midfielder Daniel Maldini.
One option being considered is that the 20-year-old could be used as a centre-forward under Antonio Conte, playing alongside Højlund and Lukaku, who is set to return to action soon.
It's worth noting that this season, the young Italian has played eleven matches for Atalanta, recording one assist—in the Coppa Italia clash against Genoa. Transfermarkt values him at €8 million.
Reminder: Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling is close to joining Napoli.
