The Neapolitans are ready to sign Sterling under certain conditions.
Details: According to TopSkills Sports, 31-year-old Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling is on the verge of transferring to Italian side Napoli.
It's reported that Napoli are prepared to take Sterling on loan until the end of the season, provided Chelsea agree to cover part of his wages to ease the club's payroll burden.
Napoli's coaching staff see Sterling as a high-quality, experienced addition to their midfield and are eager to work with the 31-year-old winger, who is going through a challenging period in his career.
Last season, Sterling spent time on loan at London rivals Arsenal. This season, he hasn't made a single appearance for Chelsea, a situation that clearly doesn't sit well with the player.
Sterling's current contract with the "Blues" runs until 2027, and his market value is estimated at 5 million euros by Transfermarkt.
Reminder: Yannick Carrasco could return to Europe. The player has been offered to Italian clubs
