Serie A club Napoli, determined to defend their title, continues to work on strengthening their squad. One of their potential targets is Brighton striker Evan Ferguson, who is currently on loan at Roma.

Details: According to the Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport, last season's champions Napoli are actively searching for reinforcements in attack. Among the options under consideration is 21-year-old Irish forward Evan Ferguson, who this season is playing on loan for the capital's Roma.

The Irishman hasn't seen much game time—just 1,000 minutes across 21 matches—but he still managed to notch five goals and provide two assists in that span.

The loan deal with Roma runs until the end of the 2025/26 season, while his contract with Brighton, who own the player's rights, is valid until June 2029. According to Transfermarkt, the forward's market value is estimated at €25 million.
