Napoli supports the Super League. The club explained its vision of the tournament

The president of the Italian club Napoli, Aurelio De Laurentiis, spoke about how he sees the future Super League.

As you know, the Italian club is one of the few that supported the decision of the European Court on the Super League and is ready to take part in it.

According to De Laurentiis, for him the ideal option is a tournament in which 7-8 of the strongest teams in Europe, as well as teams with great potential, will participate.

"In such a tournament there could not be teams like Palermo and Bari. The tournament should be closed and include 14 teams, without eliminations, as is done in the NBA.

Below in rank, two Serie A groups of 20 teams should be created, and the remaining teams will participate at a lower level,” De Laurentiis said, writes Corriere dello Sport.

As you know, Barcelona and Real Madrid are currently participating in the Super League. Most of those teams that wanted to take part in the tournament have now abandoned the idea.
