Rasmus Højlund joined Napoli from Manchester United on loan, and it appears he will be staying in Naples for a longer period.
Details: According to sporting director Manna, the Danish striker will continue his career with Napoli. The club plans to activate the purchase option worth €44 million.
Quote: “There is no doubt about it. Rasmus will stay here. We are obliged to buy him from Manchester United if we qualify for the Champions League, but he is in our plans regardless of that condition,” he said.
This season, Rasmus has played 35 matches in all competitions for Napoli, scoring 13 goals and providing four assists.
Reminder: Napoli’s management has already begun working on a contract extension for Scott McTominay following his impressive season and a half in Serie A.
