Aurelio De Laurentiis may face serious punishment.
Details: According to SkySports, the 76-year-old president of Napoli, Aurelio De Laurentiis, will stand trial over fictitious profits allegedly made from the transfer of Victor Osimhen.
It is reported that charges have also been brought against the club's CEO, Andrea Chiavelli, who is accused of falsifying documents related to the club's annual financial reports for 2019-2021.

According to investigators, when Osimhen moved from French side Lille to Napoli for €79 million, several young players with inflated values were included in the deal, allowing Napoli to manipulate the figures in their accounting records.
De Laurentiis and Chiavelli have categorically denied any involvement in these alleged violations, insisting that everything was done honestly and by the book.
The club itself faces no punishment, as the Italian Football Federation closed the case three years ago, finding no wrongdoing on the club's part. However, De Laurentiis will now have to answer in court.
