In the summer of 2025, Napoli reached an agreement to sign Kevin De Bruyne, but the Belgian recently suffered an injury, prompting the Neapolitans to look for another option.
Details: According to CalcioNapoli24, Napoli are now interested in Feyenoord midfielder Quinten Timber. The Italian side have lost both De Bruyne and Anguissa, making a new central midfielder a priority.
Timber’s contract expires in the summer of 2026, a factor that could play a major role for both Napoli and Feyenoord. The Dutch club will hardly want to lose him for free, so a January transfer appears very realistic.
Currently, Napoli is on a three-match winless streak and sits fourth in the table. In the most recent round, the team suffered a 2-0 defeat to Bologna.
Reminder: Napoli are also considering Thiago Motta as a potential replacement should Antonio Conte leave.
