Napoli is eager to retain its star player Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and has proposed a new contract. However, certain issues have emerged.
Details: According to insider Fabrizio Romano, Napoli has put forward a new deal, but it remains unsigned. Kvaratskhelia's camp has yet to respond. Meanwhile, PSG is closely monitoring the situation. The Parisian club has been interested in the Georgian footballer since last summer, and he is at the top of their transfer list.
Interestingly, the transfer of Bournemouth defender Illia Zabarnyi to PSG was previously considered a matter of time. However, the deal is now in limbo due to a significant factor that PSG appears unwilling to overcome.
Although head coach Luis Enrique is reportedly a big fan of Zabarnyi, the topic of selling Safonov this winter is not currently under consideration.
Meanwhile, Liverpool's sporting management is reportedly impressed by Victor Osimhen, who is currently on loan at Galatasaray but remains under contract with Napoli.
