Napoli has announced the name of the new head coach for the team

Napoli has announced that Francesco Calzona is the new head coach of the team, as reported on the club's website.

The reigning Italian champion has already dismissed its second coach during the season. Napoli have dismissed head coach Walter Mazzarri and have already agreed on a new candidate.

"I would like to thank Walter Mazzarri, a friend of the De Laurentiis family and Napoli, for supporting the team in a difficult moment. He will remain in the hearts of the Neapolitans and our family. We welcome back Francesco Calzona, who has already worked with us under Sarri and Spalletti," said Aurelio De Laurentiis.

The head coach of the Slovak national team, Francesco Calzona, replaced Mazzarri. It will be recalled that the Slovak Football Federation has allowed the country's head coach Francesco Calzone to start working with Napoli.

Calzone will combine his work at the club with the Slovak national team at least until the end of the 2024 European Championship. Today, Calzone and Napoli will hold the last round of negotiations.
