Napoli made three transfers in the summer transfer window, but they were focused on defence and attack, and there were no midfield signings at all. But this is something Antonio Conte intends to rectify in the near future.
The Neapolitans, according to Fabrizio Romano, have agreed the purchase of Brighton midfielder Billy Gilmour. Only a few details remain to be sorted out and very soon the transfer will be fully formalised.
It is believed that Brighton will receive a net fee of around 17-18 million euros for this purchase, but the deal also includes bonuses, the size of which the insider did not disclose.
Napoli has already envisaged a trip to Naples for the Scotland midfielder, followed by a medical, which is scheduled for early next week.
