The 2026 World Cup will not be Julian Nagelsmann's final tournament as head coach of the German national team.
Details: Today, Nagelsmann officially extended his contract with the German Football Association (DFB) until the summer of 2028.
The 2028 European Championship will take place in the United Kingdom.
Nagelsmann has been managing the German national team since the summer of 2023. Under his leadership, the team reached the quarterfinals of the home European Championship in 2024.
Reminder: There were rumors last summer about Nagelsmann potentially returning to Bayern Munich.
