Mysterious story! João Araújo leaves Mamelodi Sundowns

At the moment, there are no concrete details, but the reason behind the departure is rather unusual.

Details: According to the portal UNPLAYABLE, João Araújo, one of the assistant coaches at Sundowns, has left the club due to family circumstances.

It is reported that the coach has left the team for good, which only adds to the intrigue surrounding the situation. There has been no official comment from the club so far, but it is certain that João is no longer with the "Brazilians."

Araújo joined the club's setup in December 2024 together with head coach Miguel Cardoso. Previously, Araújo worked at Shakhtar Donetsk from 2013 to 2017, and later in his career, the Portuguese coach was part of clubs such as Rio Ave, Celta, Nantes, AEK, and Espérance.

Who Cardoso will choose as a replacement remains a mystery for now, but the Mamelodi Sundowns management clearly faces a problem.
