"My main competitor is myself." Teofimo Lopez makes bold statement about title fight with Barbosa

WBO junior welterweight titleholder Teofimo Lopez shared his expectations for the title fight against Arnold Barbosa.

Quote. "Honestly, I'm focused on myself. That's it. My main competitor is myself. I don't care what Arnold has to say about it. We're here to take over.

Listen, guys, I'm 27 years old. I haven't even reached my peak. You guys have seen one version of me, and I did everything so quickly. So tune in with us on May 2nd," said the American.

Reminder. Teofimo Lopez last stepped into the ring in June of last year, defeating Steve Claggett by unanimous decision. Barbosa, on February 15, defeated Britain's Jack Catterall by split decision.

By the way, Turki Al-Sheikh and Dana White have launched a new boxing promotion.
