Barcelona are weighing up a defensive revamp for 2026, with ongoing issues at the back throughout the current season. The club is searching for a replacement for the departed Iñigo Martínez and is also considering potential options at right-back.
This summer, the Blaugrana will make a push to sign a new player. According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona have set their sights on Crystal Palace defender Daniel Muñoz, a player the club has been monitoring for a while. The Catalans are also keeping tabs on Marc Guehi, who is set to become a free agent next summer.
Nevertheless, the right-back position is unlikely to be a top priority for Barcelona. The club’s main focus remains strengthening the heart of their defence and adding a forward.
