Moussa Niakhate shows his support for the DR Congo ahead of the World Cup intercontinental play-off final
The Senegalese international has sent a message to the Leopards ahead of their clash with Jamaica on Tuesday 31 March.
DR Congo take on Jamaica at 9 pm GMT at the Estadio Akron in Zapopan, Mexico. This fixture is more than just a match for the Leopards of Congo, who are looking to return to the World Cup after 52 years. Beyond the national stakes, the Democratic Republic of Congo’s qualification is also of interest to Africa, which could secure a 10th spot at the World Cup scheduled for next summer in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Facing the Reggae Boyz tonight in Guadalajara, the Leopards can count on the support of Moussa Niakhate. The Senegalese defender has shown his full support for Sébastien de Desabre’s side in a message posted.
100% behind the DRC tonight to lead a 10th African country to the World Cup. Make history!!! Go Leopards.
