Mourns with everyone. Mohamed Salah honors the memory of the Hillsborough tragedy victims
Liverpool star Mohamed Salah honored the memory of the victims of one of the most horrific tragedies in the club's history. The Egyptian shared an image in his Instagram story, commemorating the Hillsborough incident.
Salah posted a collage of photos of the Liverpool fans who perished, with the number 97. This number represents the total lives lost in the tragic event. This post was timed to coincide with the anniversary of the tragedy, demonstrating that new generations of Liverpool players remember and honor those who lost their lives.

To recall, the tragedy occurred on April 15, 1989, at the Hillsborough Stadium in Sheffield during the FA Cup semi-final match between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest.
The crush, caused by police mismanagement, led to the immediate death of 82 Liverpool fans. An additional 15 people later died in hospitals. Moreover, 766 people suffered various degrees of injuries.
Recently, a similar incident occurred at the Monumental Stadium in Santiago, Chile, where a crush in the stands resulted in the deaths of two Colo-Colo fans.
