Today marked the start of the first matches of the 3rd qualifying round for the 2023/24 UEFA Champions League season.

The highlight of the day was the clash between Lille and Fenerbahçe, now coached by José Mourinho. The legendary Portuguese manager's team suffered a 1-2 defeat away from home, with Zhegrova scoring the decisive goal in added time.
