Mourinho responds to his induction into the English Coaches' Association Hall of Fame
Fenerbahce head coach Jose Mourinho was invited to the League Managers Association (LMA) awards ceremony, where he was also honored with a prestigious award. The Portuguese manager was inducted into the LMA’s Hall of Fame 1000 as one of the greatest coaches in Premier League history.
Jose reacted to the accolade by posting on his Instagram page in celebration of the event.
“I was deeply honoured to be inducted to the LMA’s Hall of Fame 1000 club yesterday. It was a truly memorable evening spent alongside so many legends of the English premier league!!” Mourinho wrote.
It’s worth noting that in the Premier League, the Portuguese tactician managed three clubs: Chelsea, Manchester United, and Tottenham. With the Blues, he won three Premier League titles and three League Cups, as well as the FA Cup and Community Shield, while at Man United he claimed both the League Cup and the Community Shield once each.
The LMA is the professional association representing coaches from the Premier League, EFL, and England’s national teams. Every year, the LMA holds an awards ceremony where it presents the Manager of the Year award.
