Real Madrid has already begun working on strengthening its squad ahead of the new season, and one of the club's potential new signings could be Sporting Lisbon midfielder Morten Hjulmand.
According to TeamTalk, the future head coach of Los Blancos, José Mourinho, is interested in bringing the Danish player to the Bernabéu. The Portuguese specialist is reportedly keeping a close eye on the player's performances and considers him one of the key options to bolster the team.
However, the potential transfer could prove extremely costly. Hjulmand's contract includes a release clause of €80 million, making him one of the most expensive possible acquisitions for the Madrid club.
