Juventus have recently got a new head coach, and it is a former manager of sensational Bologna, Thiago Motta. After arriving in Turin, the specialist has already started working with the team and identified the players he does not plan to rely on when selecting the squad.

Thus, in Motta's plans for the coming season did not include midfielder Weston McKennie, and this, as emphasised by La Gazzetta dello Sport, despite the fact that the club wanted to extend his contract. But, this was a consequence of being relied upon by Motta's predecessor, Massimiliano Allegri.

The question of where the 25-year-old American will continue his career is quite debatable. Aston Villa are among the contenders for McKennie, but London giants Arsenal and Tottenham, as well as MLS team Cincinnati, also want him.
