Motsepe: AFCON 2025 in Morocco Will Be “The Most Beautiful in History”

The Confederation of African Football(CAF) president, Patrice Motsepe, has high hopes for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), which will be held in Morocco later this year.

"The next AFCON will be the most beautiful in history, a true marvel," Motsepe stated in remarks aired by Morocco's channel One radio station.

Morocco's notable advancements in sports facilities were highlighted by Motsepe, who saw them as a sign of the continent's prosperity. "A huge thank you to King Mohammed VI for his support and efforts that have improved Africa's image," he continued.

"Every African will be delighted to be here in Morocco, thanks to the hospitality and warmth of the people, as well as the impressive facilities," the Patrice said, underscoring the fact that Morocco would provide an unforgettable experience for both teams and fans.

"We are equally proud when countries like Nigeria or Egypt are well-prepared to host major competitions," he added, highlighting Morocco's success in hosting the tournament as evidence of the development of African football.

Motsepe confirmed that AFCON 2025 will highlight the amazing growth of football around the continent and expressed his joy at the fervor that binds African nations.
