Moroccan football powerhouse Wydad has set its sights on one of the coaches from South African side Kaizer Chiefs.
Details: According to iDiski Times, the focus is on fitness coach Madji Safi. With just one year left on his contract, Wydad is hoping to lure him away. Yesterday, Safi was absent from the team’s training session as the Chiefs kicked off preparations for the new season. For now, it remains unclear what decision he will make.
Madji Safi joined Kaizer Chiefs ahead of last season at the invitation of head coach Nabi. His impact was felt immediately, with the team clinching the South African Cup under his guidance.
Reminder: In early July, Kaizer Chiefs will head to the Netherlands for a pre-season tour, where fans will have the chance to see eight new signings in action.
As announced, the Amakhosi will travel to Europe for a two-week stint. The tour kicks off on July 3 and wraps up on the 19th.
