In early July, Kaizer Chiefs will head to the Netherlands for their pre-season tour, where fans will get their first look at eight new faces in the squad. Four players have been promoted from the youth team, while another four are fresh signings recently acquired by the club.
UNPLAYABLE has published the squad list, featuring Paseka Mako, Thabiso Monyane, Kabelo Nkgwesa, Asanele Velebayi, Thulani Mabaso, Mankoba Ozoemena, Etiosa Ighodaro, and Naledi Hlongwane.
The young talents are eager to prove themselves: attacking midfielder Ozoemena has already displayed his creativity in the DDC, while forward Hlongwane has earned a solid reputation. Versatile defender Nkgwesa and left-footed holding midfielder Mabaso are also in the squad and are determined to impress both coaches and fans.
As previously reported, the Amakhosi will head to Europe for a two-week tour. The trip kicks off on July 3 and wraps up on the 19th.
