Barcelona is set for a major comeback. After more than a year, winger Ansu Fati is returning to the Blaugrana squad.

Details: The forward has fully recovered from a right foot injury and has been cleared to play. Hansi Flick has included Fati in the squad for the upcoming Champions League match against Monaco on Thursday.

Reminder: In August 2023, when Barcelona was still managed by Xavi, Fati played his last minutes for the team. Before the transfer window closed, the Spanish-Guinean player went on loan to Brighton, which turned out to be unsuccessful.

On July 24, Ansu suffered another injury after returning to Barcelona.

Earlier reports stated that Fati was the biggest surprise for Flick during Barcelona’s training sessions. The young winger's hard work and impressive play have greatly impressed the German coach.

It has also been revealed how long Barcelona's new signing Dani Olmo will be sidelined due to injury.
