More serious than expected. Arteta reveals how long Mosquera will be sidelined due to injury
Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta has delivered unwelcome news regarding defender Cristian Mosquera, who suffered an injury in the previous round against Brentford.
Details: Following Arsenal's painful 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa in Premier League matchday 15, Arteta confirmed that Mosquera will be out of action for several weeks.
"Mosquera is sidelined for several weeks... It's much more serious than we expected or than the player himself felt," Arteta stated.
Due to this injury, Arteta was forced to deploy natural full-backs Timber and Hincapié at centre-back against Aston Villa.
It's worth noting that the Spanish defender has made sixteen appearances for the Gunners this season, but has yet to contribute a goal or an assist.
Reminder: Arsenal and Chelsea have entered the race for French prodigy Ayyoub Bouaddi.
