Morata’s ex-wife Alice Campello says she isn’t heartbroken after split, despite his devastation

Alice Campello, the former wife of AC Milan striker Álvaro Morata, has opened up about their breakup in her first interview since the separation, reports Daily Mail. She revealed that while she isn’t experiencing heartbreak, she and Morata still communicate daily.

Campello suggested that she may not have been ready for married life and the responsibilities of raising children. She also recounted a life-threatening complication during the birth of their fourth child. However, she emphasized that her family remains the most important and cherished part of her life.

Campello dispelled rumors that their separation was caused by infidelity on Morata’s part.

A successful businesswoman, Campello’s beauty brand Masqmai reported an impressive turnover of €8.8 million in 2024.

Reportedly, the final straw in their relationship occurred after Spain’s victory at Euro 2024. Allegedly, Campello wanted to celebrate on the field of Berlin’s stadium with just herself and their children, excluding Morata’s parents.

Morata admitted that he endured a particularly tough period following the split. He described feeling emotionally drained, and constant criticism in Spain ultimately drove him to relocate to Italy.
