According to the popular Instagram account 433, the tattoo is a tribute to Ramos’ legendary goal in the 2014 Champions League final, which he scored in the 93rd minute. That dramatic equalizer against Atlético Madrid forced extra time, where Real Madrid went on to win 4-1, securing their historic La Décima—the club’s 10th European Cup, ending a 12-year wait for the title.
Ramos' connection to that moment doesn’t stop there—he has also chosen to wear the number 93 jersey at Monterrey, further reinforcing the significance of that unforgettable goal in his career.
The veteran defender joined Monterrey as a free agent earlier this month, signing a contract until the end of 2025.
