Italian coach Vincenzo Montella, who has been involved in Turkish football for nearly three years, has attracted interest from a top English club thanks to his achievements as the head coach of Turkey's national team.

Details: According to Turkish outlet A Spor, Montella is reportedly one of the candidates to potentially replace Erik ten Hag as the head coach of Manchester United. It’s believed that the Red Devils' executives have already held a meeting with the Italian manager.

Reminder: If Montella does accept a role at Manchester United, England would become the fourth country on his coaching resume. Besides Turkey—where he previously coached Adana Demirspor—the 50-year-old has managed several clubs in his native Italy, including Roma, Milan, and Fiorentina, as well as a stint in Spain with Sevilla during the 2017/2018 season. However, for now, ten Hag’s position remains secure.
