On Sunday, February 16, 2025, Espérance Sportive de Tunis defeated Stade Tunisien 2-0 at the Hamadi Agrebi Stadium in Radès to win the seventh Tunisian Super Cup.
Elias Mokwana broke the tie with a strong header in the 59th minute following a tight first half. The triumph was completed in the 84th minute when Youssef Belaili scored the second goal with a low-driven attempt inside the box.
With 12 goals and 12 assists in 23 games this season, Belaili, who rejoined Espérance last summer, is still in excellent form. His first-half goal was disallowed for offside after a VAR review.
With this victory, Espérance solidifies its supremacy in the league and raises its record to seven Super Cup victories, four more than Club Africain and Étoile du Sahel. Additionally, with 42 points after 19 rounds, the squad leads Étoile du Sahel by three points and is still atop the Tunisian league table.
